Wire Harness Under Center Console.

I was wondering if anybody knew the purpose of the wiring harness underneath the center console of my 06 GT. It has the my color gauges and a manual transmission. Is it possible that it is for the MY Color center console insert that came on the 07?
Any insight would be helpful.

have no idea man. have you gone to the dealership and asked for a wiring diagram? that will tell you what's what.

arent wiring harness on mustangs like a one size fits all... It may be for just different options on other models

I think bobby is correct, if your car is a hard top, it will share the same wire harness as a covertible. In the vert, there will be a couple extra switches for raising the top.

Yep... There are a couple of leads for a 'vert top motor controller, and the 12 volt plug that is inside the console. I think there may be a pigtail assembly for the driver's side power seat, as well.
