Masterpower Turbos: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Master Power = GOOD!

As to Master Power they seem great, there are some successful and fast cars on http://www.turbomustangs.com/ forums running them with great success some on home made setups.

They are made in brazil, some of the turbos are versitile enough accept turbonetics and garret parts just like other turbos, some do not.

The company is in brazil, but I can tell you that PTE and Turbonetics are also very very "am I goanna have to sue you to get my parts I paid for" slow as well.

SSAUTOCHROME = fucking junk!

SSautochrome/XSpower/Turbo ZY its all the same company. They change their seller name and company name all the time to avoid persecution and in some cases prosecution. Stories abound on the web of people duped into buying their products. They sell mainly on ebay, hiding behind ebay like a shield from their customers. When accused of selling junk in negative feedback they respond all indignant as if they are the victim and the customer must have been inept in his application or installation.

They sell cheap turbos and manifolds on ebay. If you put it in your car simple as this It falls apart. The parts go into your engine and intercooler ruining both forever. The turbos are not really a turbo, but merely just devices built in china which appear to be a turbo in every way, with real moving parts, but as you can see in the pics Hotwheels posted, and in my thread here: http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/po...guy-about.html THEY ARE NOT TURBOS!!! They are simulated turbos used to separate buyers from their money.

They fall apart as soon as minutes after installation or as late as days after.

The wastegates and bovs they sell are almost as bad, but some people have gotten them to work with mixed successes. The next worst thing are their manifolds, they use mixes of stanless and mild steel which are either too thin, or poorly designed and welded. To the point that many of thier items need support braces welded on at the sweat shop where they are building them before they are partially chromed (in some cases) to make them seem more desirable or in some cases to hide the fraud.

I CANNOT BE CLEAR ENOUGH ABOUT THIS, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SSautochrome/XSpower/Turbo ZY !

Do not buy turbos off ebay that do not have a brand name on them! If you see a turbo that is on there cheap, it likely is theirs.

a company that came around in the late 90's with a goal of using ebay to sell junk out of shipping containers from China to support thier own ricer racing habits in South Carolina. They suck so badly that they can't even put their address on their website.
