The car is close, pic sending to potential sponsor
As some of you know Ive been building the car since 2002 just before I shipped out to Iraq. Its a 2002 mustang chassis in white with a nearly 800 hp 427 sbf N/A mill. Full chrome moly cage, AJE complete front end, full drag race suspension....Basically the works to get a 10.5 car as fast as you wan't to go (we are aiming for 9.0's before we spray it).

The hold up has been money the last two years and I almost had a full sponsor last year for $10K that would finish the car and pay for the entire season at Route 66 entering the Pro E.T. class and hitting about 5 NMRA Open Comp events. But as luck would have it they backed out at the last min because the car needed paint and didn't look to complete. Well now its painted and put back together will all the cage updates and chute mount (its taken so long to build it my way on my budget that the original cage wasn't to spec anymore and needed updates before I ever ran it)so I rolled it out side today (broken leg and all) and took some pics to send them for an update after they contacted us about how it was coming.....Keep your fingers crossed they like it and decide to buy in. Here are the new pics I am sending them. I don't have one of the motor in the car yet even though the motor plates and limters are done, since I broke my leg I have not been able to get the real engine in the car yet although I did get the engine bay and cage painted and cleared (gun metal greay metalic).

She's looking good J. Good luck on the sponsor thing. I wish I had the time and ability to be sponsored. Trick Flow asked me about it once but i could not keep the schedule they wanted me to do. I have a full time job and couldn't do it.

I hope it all goes well. I take it you got it all squared away with the chassis guy? Or did you just pay to get it done?

thanks eveyone, yeah sucks I can't ever drive it on the street. The cam thats in the motor now is actually a small cam and is very street worthy. If I can land this casino we might still make half the season.
