93 4cylinder Notch to V8

So I just picked up a 93 notch and found a 5.0 donor car. Still waiting to get the 5.0 to the house to start the swap, but started pulling the 4cylinder out of the notch.

Here's a couple of quick pictures. Will be taking more and updating as much as possible.

Well more than likely the teal is going to go bye bye, but still not completely sure which color I want to make it. The clear coat is peeling off all over the place so it's going to need paint.

Re: 93 4cylinder Notch to V8

Trying to get some ideas on a good combo for the motor that will get me to like 400-450hp. Never build a motor before and kind of looking for help.

Ok, For reliable cheap daily driver status 400 HP. You cant beat a 306. Bullet proof motor and easy to build and maintain. You can get a brand new crate 306 FRPP For right under 3000 bucks. If it seems like somethin you want, I have a guy at Gene Evans Ford who cuts great deals.

fordstrokers.com has a sweet deal going...331ci or 347ci stroker motors for $1800 that you assemble yourself. all machine work is done for you and ready to build.
