hey guys I am Reese from Abilene and WhtStang is a buddy of mine and told me about the site. I have a 88 Mustang GT that is getting redone and a 03 Lightning with a few minor bolt-ons.

here are a few pics of my Lightning. I had just gotten it dyno tuned at HPP in Lewisville. The lower of the two dyno sheets is the street tune and the other one is with a torco added and a 50 dry shot.

thanks...the boost is only at 12 pounds but once it gets a little colder here I will bump the boost to 20 and spray a 100 shot. It should be a lot closer to 800 rwhp.

Whoah thats a lot of boost bra! Just be careful I dont want to read a post about you needing to replace your motor! Well Im sure you did your homework so I hope it goes as planned.

well he wasn't on the boards when he would've had to post up about replacing the motor. the one he has in it will be well capable of handling the boost and spray when he gets it back.

well the first motor didn't like the 50 shot and it blew...I cracked a piston in half, ripped the wristpin out of the pistons, broke the connecting rod about 1" off the crankshaft and made a nice little hole into and oil passage in the side of the block. I was at the track racing WhtStng when it blew and he said that he shut down his car because he thought it was hit and he was 1 1/2 cars behind me.

But now I have a JLP built motor with stage 2 ported heads, stage 2 crower cams, whipple twin screw, and a few other little bolt on's. I could spin the whipple to 25 lbs but that would be pushing it really hard. I will be safe a 20lbs along with the spray. I have a SCT XCal2 tuner with the specific tunes for the spary and street. My main goal is to lift the front tires off the line.
