build the 2v or get a 4v??

So when I get the gt I dont know if I want to build up the 2v or get a 4v? I know the 2v is easier to do since its in and its cheaper to build but the 4v makes more power to start with. The 4v would be easier to find a supercharger for less money. Ive been looking and to get 300rwhp id be in the 2v around 2-3k. I can pick up at 98-99 4v for 900-1000 used and id have to get the computer and misc parts to get it in which id think that id be around 2-3 after its all said and done.

Get the 4 valve! You will be happier once it's all said and done and you will have more potential for the future. Everyone that I have talked to said that it costs a ton of money to mod the 2 valve up to make very much HP. Several people have said that and were disgusted by how much money it took.

Yea it looks like it would take a lot to get the power up with out f/I. Kennebell has a kit that woulf put me close to 400hp but that 5k. And id need to throw intetnals in to hold up.

99 - 02 Cobra 4v. Friend of mine just built up his 99 Cobra 4v with cams, bigger injectors and long tube headers. Made a big difference. Biggest hassle was degreeing the cams since none of us had ever done it before, but we got it and sounds and runs great.

Logan Motorsports makes a kit that would allow you to go 3V if you wanted to.

Ive never owned a 3V in a Mustang but it may be something to look into, 3V's can make some stupid power.
