5.4 is really loud!!

So I finaly did it. I put my bronco up for sale cause I need more room and a guy traded me a 97 expedition for it. The expo has a PI 5.4 in it and is lifted with 37's. It has no cats on it and had a flowmaster with 2.5" single exit which was ungodly loud, I put on a magnaflow to try and tone it down but its still too loud. Are all the 5.4/4.6 loud with out cats? The magnaflow I put on is supost to be a really quite one but its not, I did notice a power gain with the magnaflow so that was nice but I really need to knock it down more cause this is going to be a travel/family rig.

I just put a off road h-pipe on the mustang and it really turned up the volume.

Losing the cats does wake it up quite a bit with a 4.6. I am sure it would be the same with a 5.4.

figured I would post a pic. I had to make a t for the coolant sensors, they where just sitting on the intake.

That's an understatement considering how little it makes those 37's look.

Well for now I need to down size the tires and take the body lift off. I think I can fit 40's right now but it needs geared really bad. With stock gears the ratio comes to 2.88 so im looking at a set of 4.56 to bring me back in to the right ratio.
