Question M-6007-XB302 Boss Crate Motor ?

Does anyone know without a doubt, if you can simply change the valve covers on the above mentioned Boss crate motor and run a normal EFI setup?

I'm considering buying this motor and swapping my Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, 30lb inj, etc and installing it in a 93 coupe 5 speed. I have not found anyone who has done this yet, other than running a carb or carb style EFI.

I have the 6000-K302R ford performance polished valve covers and would think they would bolt to the GT-40 heads without a problem, but noticed the boss motor was using a different part number X-306 GT-40 on their heads instead of the usual X-303 GT-40 number. Probably just compression difference, but I'm unsure. I called Ford Tech, and ended the call feeling as if the Janitor had answered the phone.

So, if anyone has installed the boss crate motor in the MAF/EFI tradition or knows of someone doing so, please let me know.

Thanks,
