Cruise Control Deactivator Switch Removal and Install

To Remove:

NOTE: This procedure can be used for both brake and clutch pedal speed control deactivator switches.

CAUTION
Do not press the pedal when removing or installing the speed control deactivator switch, because the switch will be damaged.

1) Disconnect the electrical connector from the switch.
2) Rotate the speed control deactivator switch counterclockwise 45 degrees and remove it from the pedal bracket.
NOTE: The speed control deactivator switch will automatically self-adjust to the proper position during installation. Do not pull up or push down on the pedal during installation. Initial installation of the speed control deactivator switch allows for one adjustment. If additional adjustments are necessary, install a new switch.

To Install:

1) Reverse the removal procedure to install the switch.
