Transmission Cooler Install

* Disconnect the battery and make sure the car is cool
* Disconnect and remove headlights and disconnect fog lights
* Remove front bumper cover (4 bolts, 4 screws), metal bumper (4 bolts), and foam piece
* Determine where you want to mount the cooler depending on how much hose you have (I mounted mine on the right side as high up as I could)
* Measure the width of the cooler and dill two holes in frame for the metal mounting rods
* Use the supplied screws to secure the cooler to the mounting rods
* Use the two long black plastic mounting rods and push them through the radiator to secure the top half of the cooler
* Once the cooler is mounted and secure, determine your oil return line and disconnect it (4R70W- top line, AOD- bottom line, for more space remove the battery by disconnecting the two cables and unscrewing the screw that holds the battery down)
* Once you have disconnected the oil return line, screw in the new supplied fitting about finger tight, you might need to use Teflon tape to keep it from leaking (remember the aluminum is soft so be careful not to strip it)
* Run the supplied hose from the new fitting you just screwed in to the new tranny cooler, cut to length and secure with small clams (it doesnt matter which inlet you use on the cooler)
* Run the rest of the supplied hose from the cooler to the oil return line and cut to length (I couldnt get the hose all the way over the screw, so get it as far on as you can and secure it with the supplied clamp)
* Once all the hoses are secure and the cooler is mounted, turn the car on and check for leaks and tighten as needed (the part that was screwed into the radiator was leaking on mine so I had to use Teflon tape and tighten it until it was tight)
