i'm thinking you are on the right track as it is, but that pushrod 3.8 is'nt all that buildable. it is great as a beater to keep the miles off your v8 mustang.

I disagree with oldtimerocker-the v6 is very buildable. Check out www.supersixmotorsports.com and www.tmaturbo.com - with the money you save buying a v6 over a v8, you can build a pretty wicked car- supersix motorsports has a 10 second v6 fox as you may see on their website.

Re: what to do

well here we go just an update mods on the v-6, as follows morana billit camshaft,stage2 heads, ported upper and lower intakes,56mm t/b,x-call3 tuner,4.10 gears its surprising how well this thing runs i kinda wish i went with the split port intakes and heads but want my notch done way bad. so the track opens saturday we will be there to see what the bitch runs? i also am running rear seat delete will be taking subs out with the amp and spare tire i hope to hook better at the track with all the rubber on it because it dose not hook on the street. let the games begin................

Re: what to do

Sounds like you have put in some work on this Stang already. Good luck at the track. I hope that you get it to hook good too, so we can see what kind of times it will pull with those mods.

Re: what to do

Just goes to show when you put the money in the right places anything can be fast this car will most likely not be to fast n/a but when on the bottle i can see it being a street car that can get some respect it was a good project to do i learned alot my biggest lesson was never to underestement cubic inches. the v-6 will be a fun car but i cant wait for the 427 notch to get done on the flip side i bet i will have four times the money in the notch but there is something about lifting the front wheels and getting down the track in 9.99 or less that makes spending the money well worth it and sit down the notch will be fuel injected yes for everyone that knows me i finally gave in i dont think there will be anymore power to gaine just drivability.
