Posiible stupid clutch problem

I have a question about king cobra clutches that might be a little stupid. I just purchased a 90 GT with a 5-speed and king cobra clutch. Heres my question- Im not a little guy or have a limp leg but i find at stop lights i have to wedge my ass in the seat and lock my leg just to hold the damn clutch in until the light turns grren. ive had mustangs before and never had a clutch that was this hard to use. Is there anything i can do to make it a little earier to drive? would an adjustable clutch quadrant help? I feel embarassed even asking this question, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

i've heard of that from a few king cobra clutch owners, i've never owned one myself but i have heard of them being that way before. i'll look arouand see if i can find a solution to make it alittle more easier.

How old is the clutch? Clutch's that start acting like that may have an issue with the cable or the clutch for, not being able to push the release bearing into the clutch forks (the one's on the clutch).......Probably wouldn't hurt to send the money and purchase one of those adjustable kit's from steeda, come with new cable, quadrant and adjustment fitting for the firewall.....

I have always used that clutch and never had a problem. I would say it was the cable
