Comp cams 268H

I just purchased a set of comp cams 268H cams for my 96 GT 2V.

Anyone running these and have anything good or bad to say about them.

I am also wondering if I need to upgrade the springs or if I can run them with stock springs, i am going to install them with a Ford Anderson Cam sprocket retaining tool so I hope i shouldn't need to degree them, or have any PTV issues. Bought them from a local forum and the fella has them in his 96 now with no issues.....

Re: Comp cams 268H

i'm pretty sure they are the NSR "no springs required", i don't think you need springs until you go to the 274 cams.

Re: Comp cams 268H

iirc the 268's require springs. i had them in my 97 and did have ptv on the intake side at high rpms. it was fine at idle and when i beat on it well you know what happened. mine where not degreed. i was runing stock timing. i would highly suggest degreeing them

i used the comp beehive springs
