Well its a long story on my car. First off i had picked out a black stang with standard transmission with all the stripes removed. All they basically had left to do at the dealership was go pick up the car. I left the next day and took a trip to Georgia while there i received a phone call from the dealership 2 days later stating that my car i had picked out had been sold off the lot it was on. Being that i wanted to get it with 0% interest as well i was crunched for time to get what i wanted. They offered me another one in the neighboring state however it was the dark blue color. I said that is fine as long as it is not orange, yellow, red, or green i don't care and its a standard. 30 minutes later i was told that that car as well was sold. So here i am 4 states over from where i live and they are trying to sell me a green auto with hail damage. I don't think so i said. So i called personally to all dealerships within a 500 radios of my home. All i found was the car i have now and a red one just like it with leather seats. Living in west Texas does not go well with leather seats.

Needless to say i took the torch red one auto with no stripes and no leather seats. When at first i said i didn't want a red one, didn't want a standard, didn't want stripes. So i got sorta what i always wanted. I got a Stang!!

However what i would like to do is fix up my car to be more along the lines of what i wanted. My bf says trade it in and get what u want but i have kinda grown to like this car even though it has some other problems as well.

ebaretta, i would say as long as you like the stang, keep it.......that's what i would do, especially after all the trouble you went through to find one.

just wondering if you are the same one on LSS. sorry bout the post grab here. anyways, i think a v-6 is great because later on, if you decide to swap to an 8 cyl, no one will guess. it is an awesome sleeper. also, there is an adapter to mate a cobra blower on a s197 v-6, and that is sick in so many ways. hope you come to love the stang.
