turbos on fi cars? ok, so my turbo experience is limited to carb cars. this might sound like a stupid question, but when you are using a blow through setup, does the throttle body need to be sealed up in anyway? |
You mean like you would do a Carb setup? If that is what you mean...then no...the T/B is already sealed in and out on MOST if not ALL EFI cars. Most air is 'metered' air, so any air getting in AFTER the MAF will scew your readings. Every T/B I have seen comes with the butterfly sealed, and the TPS sealed. No need to take 'extra' measures to seal it... If I am way off what you mean...ask away again... or you could just ask DugDug...maybe he knows...;) |

Throttlebody has a line to the valvecover. You want to plug that one or else you boost your crankcase. Erich |
