Subframe connectors???

How much did it cost you guys with subframes to get them installed? Also did you notice a difference after you had them installed?

Re: Subframe connectors???

I installed mine myself. But you will see a difference guranteed the car will be more rigid (not ride bad but you will see) plus when you go to jack the car up it will be different like one side of the car will go up instead of one wheel.

Re: Subframe connectors???

It cost me a bottle of Crown Royal... a buddy and I installed in a couple of hours on a drive-on hoist.

Mine are from BMR, the heavy duty variety. Biggest difference is my doors shut properly again! Also car launches straighter and doesn't make weird sounds going over curbs and such. Very good mod.

Re: Subframe connectors???

I installed my own. I would guess $100 bucks or so to have someone install them.

Re: Subframe connectors???

you can rent a welder, we just used a wire feed, nothing fancy.

of course, by the time you rent, it may be the same as paying someone...

Re: Subframe connectors???

I had a body shop install them on the coupe.. cost me $30 a hr for labor. It helped a lot

This next time Im doing them myself and going Heavy Duty, full length through the floor subs. Makes a HUGH difference !!

I was thinking about going this way with my coupe since I'm going with the 460. Does anyone have any experience with the through the floor subframe connectors on a fox? I'd go with the wolfcraft set.
