hi every one havnt been on in some time had to tell you i got a new ride 80 mustang hatch 6cly auto no ac with 80,000 miles found at estate sale came from nevada to wisconsin 2 years ago what shood i do with my new project looking for some ideas thanks

Drop a 351 in it for starters.

welcome back , get the 460 kit and drop in a big block with a 8-71 with a c6 and a gear drive

hi thanks for the help i wish i could do the 460 but wont work with stock crossmember i already checked. has any body ever done a 302 or 351 swap with this crossmember (its a inline 6) iknow the mounts are diff than my 84 and 93 any help

I think your going to need a K member.

....or my wife may buy it from you. lol She had an 80 and has been wanting another one. She blew up the 4 banger, and we swapped in a straight 6 before she sold it. We changed the K member and all for that, and I know the V8's can use the 4 cylinder K member. So I think your going to need one.
