As most of you know, I don't have my little Mustang anymore due to needing a truck more. Did a little trading and wound up with a 2003 double cab 4 WD Toyota Tacoma with a V-6. Not impressive, but still pretty stout.

Ok I am minding my own damn business going down Hwy. 67/167 between Newport and Bald Knob. I call it "100 MPH Alley," because it has some really long straights and people just haul ass in general through there because a lot of it is also divided and in pretty good shape.
Ok I am running about 75-80 MPH and passing the very few cars spread out that were on the road at 9:30 at night. Well I pass a mid to late 90's Z-71 at about 75 MPH and as soon as he gets to the rear bumper he speeds back up even with me, so I ease up to almost 80 and he matches me again. Then he starts making his truck jump like he is fucking with me and making fun of my little Toyota. Without hesitation I pour the coal on for all she's worth and start walking the dog on this poor unsuspecting bastard!!!! I have to say that it felt pretty damn good too. From about 80-100 MPH I put about a length and a half on him, and I coasted back down to 75-80 again to make sure that he didn't want to try his luck again, BUT he didn't have any intentions of trying it again. He got his ass handed to him on a silver platter and he even had a witness in the truck with him... Now THAT was the most rewarding part of the whole deal, because I bet that his friend is going to tell all of their friends that he got smoked by a Toyota and they will rib his ass until he can't stand it anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He will just tell them he thought you were out of control because it was a Toyota and he let you go. LOL Just screwing with you Allen. I don't have the nuts to screw around now. I have to explain every ticket that I get because I have the company truck. I can't even get in trouble in my own rides.

Allen, I have the same year and body style as yours. The Pre-Runner came with my wife when I married her. Wife's 96 GT developed a cracked head so she sold it and bought the Toyo. These little trucks are quick especially when you turn the overdrive off. Scary part is they sit so high and are fairly narrow.
We hit a nasty bump in the road about two years ago on some Farm to Market between Dallas and Tyler and we were on two wheels for a brief moment. I still have the underwear I was wearing on that day and they are easily recognizable because I still haven't been able to remove that skid-mark!
