celica gt4 VS ME

I got to race a buddy I work with yesterday; He has a celica gt4 (awd turbo). Well went to the highway and went from a 50 roll and I pulled him in second and missed third he passed me but I slammed it in gear and passed him. Second time he got the jump on me and stayed ahead of me, but my car was doing something strange like it was accelerating but slow it was odd. But the 3rd time my car was straight and I pulled him hard! This is the most fun I’ve had since I moved here
