Killed a new Chevy SuperSlow Camaro!!!

they run pretty good I killed one about a week ago He ran well wished I had a camera he didnt stop however but I am runing stack 3:55 with a Kenne Bell supercharged on a 4.6 3V pushing 13 psi he got out of the hole about a half a car link but my car really kicks in at 2000 rpm I took him by about 6 car links in a little over two blocks stopped at the smiths parking lot he wouldnt pull in but he did run well for a stock car I am pulling 525 hp at the wheels

It mite have been the same one I was headed back from a carshow in Winfield and I was on Rock I was at the last light just outside of Mulvane just before Derby we raced from that light.

There's nothing wrong with a 57 Chevy Man that's cool one of my favorite Chevy's if I were ever to buy one. That's a badass car and a true American Classic.

I had a fASt all steel '55 Chevy in highschool... it was a S. California boy thing in the late 1970's... we all had one. You have to start somewhere! Back then you had to know how to change points, and to change out jets on a carburetor... IMO we have learned to become lazy since those days with a computer doing most of the tuning now.

If a Camaro is hanging with a Mustang putting down 500+ horses to the rear wheels... that isn't "Superslow." That is a car that deserves props.

I had a "yellow" '67 Camaro too. The new Camaro looks like it has returned to it's earliest roots... Then had a '72 Nova SS with a transplanted 402 BB/M-22trans, 12bolt rear....



The above pic was in 1980... the 1956 Bel Air belonged to my friend Thomas Storey.... the '67 Camaro is in there... and in front of the '67 Camaro is my '55 Chevy (unseen in pic).

the ss models run really well however the stock mustang will stay with it but we are talking small block verses big block with some mild Mods on a stang you can run with them very well and the better driver will prevail the difference in cost is substantial however and you can put alot of money into your stange and still be alot less expensive than the ss camero they advertise 305 hp in there 6 cylinder and I am sure you will get that but your pushing a car that is alot heavier than the stand

I hear Ya I just work around alot of bow tie guys and hear the crap everyday gets pretty old but I did Take out the biggest mouth to lunch the other day and ran into a 2007 Corvette not a z01 but one of hte 425hp units chewed him up and spit him out my freind didnt have much to say Kinda cool in reality I have around 29,000.00 in my car with supercharger vesus 42,000.00 on the low end vett or upper end camero the way i see it I have 10,000.00 to play with and I think mine is better looking to boot
look at the new car and driver magazine the Mustang was rated the best of the three camero challenger and stang stang wins in verall performance and style and value as well
