hiyo!

a few friends of mine referred me here, and even though i'm on 19 different message boards, i thought i'd see whats so great about this one.

anyway i'm a 26 year old diagnostic tech for a trans shop in Chicago, i am single and have a big passion for Fords. I currently own 3, and have owned an additional 9 more in the past, plus 3 GM vehicles. Currently its down to my '86 GT which is under a full restoration as we speak, an '87 LTD which i restored 4 years ago, and my DD which is a '94 T-bird.

I'm a hardcore Chicagoan, even though i'm pretty tired of this cold weather now, and my 2 closest friends want me to move to AZ with them

so yea thats my story and i'm sticking with it

Welcome to the site . You were smart to listen to your friends . This a pretty cool and layed back site . Not alot of BS on here . We kid and cut on eachother , but it's all in fun . If you get a chance post some pics of the four eye and the other projects . I hope you enjoy the site . James

unfortunately its not as clean as you think.. its the original paint, and i have one cancer spot at the rear quarter panel, and the top of the fenders and hood, clearcoat is peeling off, which is why its under a complete restoration.

it came into my life as this in july of '07:


and a year later, it looked like this:


october of '07, it got a new convertible top, new engine and exhaust. early spring of '08, i buffed the paint real well and took care of the rust spots.

due to the clearcoat problem and my obsessiveness with making stuff look better, i went ahead and tore the whole car apart.

i am just about done with the engine bay
