Jiffy Lube
I know most people don't use or trust Jiffy Lube, but I'm old and lazy so I use them. I have been using the same location for several years for all my vehicles. I went in today to get my oil changed and they spent several minutes under the car and then came to see me. Seems the last time I had my oil changed, they overtightened my drain plug on my 7 qt Canton oil pan. When they did that they think they broke the nut loose on the inside of the pan because they couldn't get the drain plug out. They said to get two estimates and they would pay for a new pan and for a qualified mechanic to install it. They want a shop to do so that the work is warranted. It was good to see someone step up and take responsibility for their actions.

this is why I do my own vehicle work lol, but it sounds like you got lucky and found a responsible business and it seems those are hard to find.
