Trick flow intake manifold

Just thinking about some mods this year. Has anybody bought the new Track Heat intake manifold for the 4.6 2v ? I've checked out their web site but can't find any dyno numbers on this . What do you guys think?

it's gotta wait till i get home, but the numbers to 3000 rpm were about the same, but after that it was around 15 or 20 higher if i remember right.

That sounds good so far. I was looking at the Fox Lake P51 , But you have to buy after market fuel rails for it . The stock fuel rails wont fit , the crossover line between the rails is too short. Just cost more ,and you got most of your power in the upper RPM range .

Yep read some things like that on other forums , That's one of the things that changed my mind about the P51 . For the cost of the P51 i could get the Trick Flow and an electric water pump, and be in the same ballpark price wise.

Yep been reading on that also , Seams that you have to buy a shorter belt with the elec. pump if your running underdrive pullies. The idler pulley is stock size, So i think it was like a 99" belt.

theres a good book out there called 4.6/5.4 horsepower on the dyno. they test all kinds of manifolds (and other stuff). unfortunately they didnt do the trick flow, but, from what i read, its pretty hard to beat the PI manifold for average power on a street car. seems as though (from the book) it would be wiser to keep the stock manifold and invest in a set of cams.

I just got that book yesterday. It was worth $25 to keep from blowing a buunch of money on parts that don't fit your plan. I agree, I think the intakes show most of their gain in the upper RPM range.
