Need Some help

I have a 95 GT, it runs strong but when I have it turning about 3000+ RPM and I punch it will hesitate for about a second then it will take off, also get some backfire every now and then when its you rev it up and its cold......any suggestions???? thanks

did you do a good tune up?(cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter...)

Next steps i would take is cleaning your IAC on the side of the throttle body and checking your tps setting.......

motorcraft probably got about 8000 miles on them, pulled one out a couple of days ago they still look good
