how much do they rob from your stereo? i like speed and all but i like music too.

they shouldn't take away anthing at all. they spin you engine accessories slower. the only way they could possibly take away from your stereo is if they spin your alternator too slow and you have charging issues, but at that point the stereo is the least of your worries.

I have had 3 different stangs that had underdrive pulleys and never had any problems with the stereo

no stereo problems and as long as you dont live in a place where you need to run your heat,defrost and wipers and lights at the same time, you wont have any problems. it gets cold in the mornings here in oklahoma and i havent had any issues yet and i have 2 jl 12's and a 1500 watt amp and dvd player, never noticed anything

if you are worried about it, go to auto zone and buy a bigger alternator.

like said...you can upgrade the alt if its a problem. Thats what I HAD to do and I still have "issues" like head lights ect dimming at idle due to the big ele fan. you can also buy a OVERdrive alt pully, to speed it back up from having underdrive pullies on the others.
