headers question

when getting headers which ones are better . the 1 5/8 or the 1 3/4? im suspecting that the 3/4 would have more flow? am i right? more air pushed out more horses. im looking at some jba's right now or hookers. also i got the magnaflow magnapack exhaust system , do they make any other 3.0 diameter ,x pipe, h-pipe, etc,etc,etc....that would be flushed with this monster?

question #2- ok and about the headers, if i get my car supercharged i got to use stock headers right? i get my car worked on by some asian guys, and they are cool and everything but the way they talk about imports im thinking they might be trying to sabotage me, so if u got a supercharged ride let me know

having larger exhaust headers is not always a good thing. if your car can flow that much, ie: intake and heads, then bigger is better, but if not capable your just doing injustice to your motor. you need to keep a minimal amount of back pressure to ensure good operation.

1 3/4 will flow more but you dont really need them wilth a near stock engine and you do not have to use stock manifolds, What engine are these headers going on? If your shop even gave you this idea I would go somewhere else .
