carb question

what is the differnece between a regular carb and a blow-through carb? or is there any difference i was just wondering i hear it a lot but dont exactly now what it means.

you need a blow-through to run boost, like turbo or supercharger

here is a write up on how to make a reg carb a blow thru set up. has alot of good info. I will see what else I can dig up but there is alot of stuff that is different.
