yea letr rip its usualy always a good time to switch unless when you have a shit tone of miles on the motor ive heard tha synthetics will leak around the seals... but you obviously dont have to worry about that. i personally noticed a deeper exaust note and more fluid tone. and it just runs better....its possible to free up a pony or 2. post back and let me know what u thnk.(im running royal purpal)

I'm gonna try synthetic next change probably be close to the end of Sept. I was thinking about going with amsoil. I remember watching an episode of hp t.v. and they changed out the fluids with royal purple and picked up a few hp on the dyno pretty cool stuff. i'll let you know what I think. thanks man, nice ride love them cobras.

I've heard it's not good to switch back and forth between conventional and synthetic. Anyone ever heard of this being a problem?

i switched back and forth on a focus that i had and it didn't like that too much... started to run a little rough and burn a little oil at like 40000 miles. but if i kept with sythetic (or conventional) for a couple of changes, it'd straighten back out.
