Engine Talk
If you are looking for information on a specific engine, you are in the right place. Hopefully we can all learn from each other on how to tune your car for daily driving and how to get the last ounce of performance from your ford engine at the track.

Can anyone tell me the difference between a 5.0 efi and a 5.0 h.o.? as far as i can tell, it looks to be just a cobra intake. anybody know?

the 5.0 efi is a non roller engine and the easy way to tell if it is a h.o. or not is to look at what side the throttle body is on pass side is h.o. driver side is non h.o. most non. h.o.s are set up for roller but just dont come factory with roll lifters and a spider to hold them in to place...
