Engine Talk
If you are looking for information on a specific engine, you are in the right place. Hopefully we can all learn from each other on how to tune your car for daily driving and how to get the last ounce of performance from your ford engine at the track.

need help and info

I recently purchased an 83 mustang that i know for a fact will run a 12.9. I know it has a saleen rear end and a 5 speed tranny. A holly2 carb and headmen headers. Thats about as far as I know. I know there was about $7,500 worth of machine work done internally. Does anybody know how I can go about getting specifics to what's in this car, so i know where to go from here

sadly, you would have to talk to the shop or person that did the work..........that would be the only way of telling what you have without having to go into the engine and try to figure out the numbers on the cam, piston's, etc......
