h-pipe hitting crossmember

Hello, just wondering if anyone has run into this problem. I have a 91 convertible and I installed bbk shorty equal lengths and h-pipe. I also replaced both engine mounts, trans mount, crossmember bushings, and exhaust hanger. After installing the headers I found that they were rubbing on the steering shaft on the left and the engine bay on the right. I made a 1/4in shim for both motor mounts to raise the engine but now the h-pipe hits the crossmember on the left side. Does any one make a crossmember that has more of a hump on the left side? Should I remove the exhaust hanger? Any ideas would be very helpful
thanks Luke

did you install convertible motor mounts?i have the same headers on a 93 convertible with no clearance problems with the same headers.i did have issues with the h-pipe hitting to crossmember and the drivers floor right below the gas pedal.i removed the hangers so it could hang lower and had to ding the h-pipe to give good clearance to the floor.i put a flowmaster 2 1/2 offroad if the brand matters.i had the same h-pipe on a coupe and had the same clearance problem with the floor who knows.
