Getting a 5.4
In the final stages of working out a deal for some parts i have with a high school teacher who has a complete (I think) 5.4 engine that has 0 miles and was only used for hands on teaching and the kids assembling it.

Claims it is an NPI motor dated 96-97 (Thats ok still more power then my motor.)

What if anything is wrong with going this route and is there any foreseeable future problems going with this year of 5.4?


Future plans include the Trick flow heads and some stage 2 cams as well as the actual 5.4 Mod swap intake, i wanna try for atleast 300rwhp with this motor.

Haven't conducted any research on it yet, but can the 4.6L rods be used with this motor?
