Seat wiring?

Anyone with a newer...99-04 GT that has power seats, do you have a 4 pin power plug underneath your seat?

I have a 96 GT and i only have a 2 pin plug.....I am trying to wire in my 03 Cobra seats and wondering if the 4 wires contain 2 live and 2 ground.

If so i plan on splicing 2 live wires to my 1 live wire and 2 ground the same, and then attach the female 4 pin.....

If anyone else has any different suggestions or has done this before, let me know. thanks

that would be awesome fitzy, the new plug i got has 4 wires... 1 thick green and black and 1 thin green and black.

what color are the ones that will be pluging into the cobra seat?

i think we have the answer but if you could double check for me....the ones in my car are grey/grey black stripe...if i do recall.

The answer may be that the big ones provide power to the seat, and the little are the seat belt interlock. the cobra's female receptacle's for seatbelt are bolted to the seat....mine are bolted to the tunnel

ya i had my multi meter on it....i' ll get more in depth to it tomorrow, just thought i would throw it out today and see what i got back
