I am looking for the what the timing should be on a 1998 chevrolet pickup and were is the little plug located that you have to remove to time it correctly. Trying to get my dads truck running again before he leaves.

350 vortec...really need to know where the plug is at you remove when timing it. thanks

Its hard to find.. Look behind the throttle body to the left alittle against the firewall.. Its in a vertical flexible conduit.. Its been a few years since I had mine and I believe this is where its at..
