factory amp

I have a 94 mustang gt and the wires behind the radio have been cut all to hell and back. I got some of the wires figured out but can't get any sound out.. Is there a factory amp that has to have power b4 you can get any sound? I've done a car b4 and I think that it was a mustang too.. I'm not very sure about that.. any info would be great

you could always run new speaker wires, and bypass the skinny factory wiring.
