Strange night......

Last night after work go out to leave, and the battery is dead. call my wife and she comes and we jump it and it starts no problems, and runs till i get to a stop light and dies, will not start and will not take a jump.
Now the only thing that i had done was take out the gauge cluster and drove it with out it for two days. the other thing, when i was getting pulled by my brother, there was a dinging coming from under the dash. i dont know if this was what drained my battery, or what. put the gauges back in and charged the battery last night, we will see what happens tonight.

maybe a wire from the cluster touch something and caused it to short and drain the battery.

trickle charge the battery over night and I bet it starts right up. You wouldnt happen to have a jell-cell would you? If so when you kill them just driving wont recharge them like a regular battery

i put it on the trickle and it started up no prob. Then yesterday i got out of school, went to start her and click click.... again. had to call my mom to get me from school! that sucked, but i went and got my wifes car. after work went and jumped her and started just fine. shes charging now. i will start on the locating of the problem tomorrow. I hate this!

shitty well here now comes the fun part pulling fuses one at a damn time until what ever has the draw has gone away have fun
