96 GT wiring diagram

Does anyone have a wiring schematic for my car? or can answer this question......

I am going to be wiring up my new electricai temp gauge and i need to know which sending unit to replace is it the one closest to the thermostat or is the one on the passenger side of the intake manifold? and do i need to put a T on this?

i know one sending unit is for the fan, and the other is the gauge, any help would be appreciated

Here ya go buddy. Besure to let me know if they are large enough for you. It should be the wire that is red/white

damn that really doesn't help me much. Thanks for posting them doug. it still doesn't tell me which one i pull and replace.....

I just don't want to pull the wrong one and not have a fan....

there is a red/green wire and a white wire attached to them

How bout this? 1st one is a cobra if i remember right and the second one should be like yours, but i threw in both just incase.

nope thats a Cobra motor, both of my sensors are located in the crossover on the manifold. what this is telling me is i have to weld in another bung somewhere in the cooling system?

I would say the one closest to the thermostat is the one that controls the fan and the other one on your manifold is the temp sender. Thats been my expierience over the years anyway....

If you are looking at the engine from the front of the car, you have 2 sensors, one on the passenger and one on the drivesside right? One of them is close to the thermostat? If i am not mistaken you actually have 2 temp sensors on that model. I would change out our tee into the one by the thermostat, on the driversside. The passenger side one has a green body correct? and the driversside has a grey body? If so, both are temp sensors, connect into the grey one.
