Dash replacement, please HELP...

I need some input....does anyone know if an instrument cluster from a 99 Cobra will plug and play in a 96 GT? i have found a 99 cluster but need to know if it works....or if someone can point me to a thread on the net how to do the conversion?

Heres two pics to compare the shape.. Looks the same.. Don't know if the connections on the back of a stock cluster would be the same for the years.. First pic is for a 99-04.. second for a 96-98..

i know the shape will fit, just not sure if the connectors will be the same due to the digital display on the 99's

thanks dude, i am going to buy the dash anyway and hell if it don't work out, i will sell it on ebay and definately make my money back
