Tire size
 

i'm getting 4 18x9's for my stang, but what size tire do you recommend for that rim so i can look up what is available.

295/35/18 for the rear, i wouldn't go much bigger then 255's on the front...i had 275's on front and had to switch to 255's

what about 255 35 for front and 275 35 for the back? they don't have the g-force sport above 275 and my wife will blow a gasket if the tires are over 200 a pop.

ya, i have 275's on the back of mine right now, they should fit nicely, as for the 35's in the front.......might be a bit small, do they list a 40 or 45?

americanmuscle.com is saying 265/35. would a 265 work on front without rubbing? damnit...now discount tire's site is FUBAR. get back to you on the 40 or 45....

i had the 265's on the front that i tried from a friends back tires and they did rub....i have a 1 1/2" drop, but even the 255's or the rims...one of the 2 still rub at max turning radius.

what size rim where you running?

running the 9" Cobras.... so to let ya know...now i am running the 255/45/17's on front and 275's 35 17's on back

what is the offset? i mean backspace...whatever, you know what i mean. cause if the offset is less + or the backspace is less, they might not rub. cause these are +24mm offset, and 5.94" backspace.

Hmmmmm good question....anyone with a cobra know what the backspacing is....for some reason 26mm is ringing a bell
