New Brunswick cruise....

Just thought i would throw this out there for anyone in the area.


A couple of us local New Brunswick Folk are putting together a big cruise for the 4th of Oct. The meet is going to start in Fredericton and head towards St. Andrews for the scenic fall view and possibly lunch. From there we will be heading to Saint John and onwards to Moncton and back to Fredericton to finish off the day. A fellow Mustanger has offered up his shop for a BBQ and such (TBC). So far we have approx. 10 cars involved and if you live anywhere along this route or close to it and wish to join in, feel free. There is no extra cost except the expense of shredding some tires for video and picture taking. We will be meeting up between 8:30 and 9am on the 4th at the Bishop Dr/Hanwell rd. Tim Hortons, where we will grab a coffee, do some introductions and start the trip. One of the partakers is a video editing marvel and will probably take all video's and roll them into one package complete with music and credits.

I will be looking forward to seeing everyone that shows up. Remember winter is drawing near and we will be putting these cars on the shelves for that time. 2 weeks after this cruise is the last Drag races being run in the Miramichi. Many of us plan to attend that as well for a little run what you brung event.

The 4th eh? That sucks. I was looking forward to going with you guys. Hopefully the weather will hold out for the strip. Take lots of pics. I'll be back the week after on the night of the 9th. Hope you guys have a blast.

ya thats sucks for ya mike. but the weekend you get home is thanksgiving and we didn't think it would be a good weekend for that. then the following weekend is the last drags in the miramichi, so i know you will be up for that. Don't worry I will get lots of pics of your cobra on the trip....you won't be in the pics but your car will. hahaha. guess we are meeting up with a guy in St. Andrews that has a sonic blue cobra with a KB on it...700+hp. another guy has a twin turbo 88 fox. not sure what else will be going other then Patti and Jared, not sure about Jeff.

You better get the goodyear's mounted then or you'll look a little silly. See what kind of time off Jared has. I am, and I believe you are aswell, off till the 14th or 15th. I might be just a little to eager because I'm bummed that I'm gonna miss the cruise. If time permited I was thinking Cape Breton would be worth the drive. I've never been to the Cabot trail. Anyways, just throwing it out there. I might get back and realize I can't afford a journey quite so adventureous.

Oh yeah, make sure you get a drive in the fox and cobra. 700hp? Holy crap. Get some in car footage of that thigh tearing it up. Ask him is he bought his at Woods. It might be the SB cobra that was beside mine in the lot.

Sorry Mike about having the cruise while you're away.. We didn't want it too work out that way. The 4th seemed to be the only good weekend for us, Brian has a wedding to go to on the 11th? And Im on call that weekend. Then the next weekend after that we'll all be at the track.

I think those 2 events will probably be my last 2 for the season, Im running low on cash and sadly, old man winter will soon be here....
