Merry Christmas to me.....

Well this morning we recieved a phone call from my son's 1sgt, asking where he is? As thing's turn out, my son never went back to iraq dec 1st. After doing some checking here locally, we found him staying at one of his friends house. Looking at him, it looks like he has been doing drugs. He has lost alot of weight and has grown his hair out.

I talked to his assigned military base and they say he now has until January 2nd to turn himself in before they ask for a federal warrant for his arrest......

Wtf.........is wrong with him??????????? I was so fucking proud of him and now i am just sitting here in pure shock......

Awww my God man, im soo sorry to hear that. On the positive side hes alive ,but man all the crap hes in now.
So sorry that this had to happen durring Christmas.
I hope they will let him back in and he straightens his act up.

Dam Doug! Well like someone else said, at least you know he is alive, maybe not as well as he should, but that can change! I just hope that they let him back in and they just look over this. It will suck for him, but it's better than the "Big Chicken Dinner"........aka Bad Conduct Discharge.
We will pray for him that he gets his life straightened out and that he gets some direction going for himself. Drugs suck ass, I have been there and done that. Prison is not the place to learn from your mistakes either. So pray for him and I will do the same. Good luck Doug, Later, Allen...

Check him out bro, before you dis-own him. If I read the post right, he has already been there once at least. He may be having some major problems. Try to understand that he may have lost a bunch of brain cells, thinking about that place. Be there for him, and remember, he's the same son you were proud of earlier. Right now i am just going through alot of emotion's over this entire deal. I still have a really sick feeling in my stomach, but hopefully that will pass.

I talked a guy at his assigned base last night and they told me the best thing for him to do is either turn himself in here at f.e. warren air force base, or get a plane to fort drum new york, before january 1st. At this point, he is still in trouble, but he is not classified as a deserter yet. So, if he does go back to fort drum on his own, he will be in trouble, but it is something he can get through and hopefully not tarnish is adult record.

I did ask him about drugs last night, and he said they have only been smoking pot, which isn't as bad as i had thought in the beginning. Whether this is true or not will come out after he turns himself in.

Anyways, we will see what happens' at this point. He took the first step by coming back to our house late last night, so hopefully we can get him on another plane and get the process started to clear his record......

i am sorry to hear about this!i hope things work out good in the end,a least he came home and is hopefully willing to try and straighten up..i hope the military goes easy on him but i see some hard times ahead..
