torque loss or gain

i like the super 40s that i have but they dont have the punch when u rev it up sittn still. but when u get on it. itl roar pretty good and thats what im lookn for when im just sittn. ive thought about glasspacks, but what about magnaflow cuz i know essensialy they are the same thing. and if glass pacs are the answer. what brand, cherry bomb, thrush,or the plain one u get at muffs shops. i need yalls opinion.

might trade off a little torque, depending on your mods, might gain some, but magnaflows magnapaks series is friggin loud!, you could always jsut run no mufflers and piss the neighbors off

after reading you sig with the mods you have you might actually pick up some torque, but it'll move it higher into the rpm band.

I would guess you'd lose some. Theyre loud and straight through, but usually the inside diameter is small, and they create turbulance inside thats disrupts the flow. Is loud what your looking for,or do you mean it doesnt seem to rev up fast sitting still ?

um............. haha silver metalized duct tape, aluminum foil to make up the gap in the pipe, and yes bailing wire was involved. i was a kid and the only car nut in the family, so i taught myself to do everything, including welding, and my self education was enough to land a job as a blue oval certified auto technician at a local dealership.
