Ive seen that before and it pisses me off!!!! 2 reasons. 1) I hate people who scam people !! 2) NO love for the 4 of the 9 shops who DID do what was paid for. They didnt even bother to tell which shops were "stright up". give the GOOD guy some credit would ya???

I worked at Midas (in FL) for a long time and can tell ya its NOT only Jiffy lube. I myself refused to ever do it but some of the people I worked with would do some bullshit moves!!! people ASSume cuz its a franchise they are better off going to them. I can tell ya from working at 3 differnt Midas and 2 different Monroe shops that your MUCH better off at a mom and pop shop!!

co-worker says.. hey if you mic them tight enough those rotors will need replaced and not turned, more comission on the pay check..

same coworker.. tells a lady her exhaust is getting REAL BAD. Lady asked to see and says it dont look that bad. which is was NOT !! he TRIES to sell her on it by saying. "before long it will start to rattle" like any normal person without a shit ton of money she says she will bring it back when it does.. co-worker says real nicely well when it does, PLEASE bring it beack to ME. she agreed and walked into the lobby and the asshole takes a few 3/8 nuts, tosses them in the muffler and says "she will be back in a few days".

he was transfered when he should have been FIRED but he did get shit canned when someone who knew a little something asked to see the old parts.. He TRIED to pass off some old parts off other cars. Turned out the guy was a mechanic.. called his ass out and he was fired on the spot..


there are SOOOOO many more I could go for days lol lol
