MSD Digital 6

Where's the best place to mount a MSD Digital 6 box inside a daily driver fox body?
I would rather have it inside to keep it water proof but not a lot of room under the dash.

I had mine under the driver's seat. the battery was in my trunk so I put the capacitor under the back left seat and ran the wires under the carpet. what ever you do, do not put it under the hood!!! I learned the hard way.

Mine's (6al, not digital) under the drivers seat too. I like it there because I can set my RPM's at 2500-3000 and the tire shop or alignment shop can't beat on it when they "test drive" it. They don't even look under the seat for it. I had an alignment shop take it out for a spin to test their work. I never heard of that until I took a supercharged mustang in to have it done.

Dave

Thats a good idea there !!
Back when I was doing alingments I ALLWAYS test drove them. NEVER hard just making sure it didnt pull to one side and make SURE the steering wheel was stright. Hell I test drove oil changes. lol I was allways worried about giving someone their car back and having something go wrong.

My 6AL is mounted on the passenger side of the tranny hump as close up under the dash as we could get it.

This should work good as will stay dry and is easy to adjust, Korey wants me to drop 10 degrees of timing when on the bottle but now can play with that and see how much timing I can get away with.
