Dam Gas Prices!

If gas keeps going up, I am going to have to get a stick horse instead of a Mustang!

This is a peaceful protest idea... share it with America.

Everyone does the following:

1. They fill up every vehicle they own to the brim... that means all of them including their riding lawn mower. If everyone fills up... the gas stations will be emptied....

2. Get a white shoe polish marker and write your favorite "I am being gouged!" statement all over the windows on your car.

3. Drive your car, truck, SUV, or 18 wheel rig to the nearest highway access and park it in the middle of the street blocking traffic. If it is an 18 wheel rig hauling livestock... open up the doors and let them out... your rig is going to be parked there awhile. So will your car, truck, or SUV.

4. Walk to the nearest bar and pull up a seat to drink booze/beer and watch the news as 50 million other Americans do the same thing.

Don't worry... your boss won't make it to work that day. Your FAA controllers won't make it to work that day... and planes won't be flying either... Those of you who are doc workers... might as well send the ships out of harbor because they aren't getting unloaded.

You get the idea... shut down America thru peaceful protest. Wanna bet gas prices instantly get cut in 2/3rds? Want to bet you can ask Congress and the Senate to impose Term Limits on themselves? Want to be you can get a few more changes requested and agreed to? Perhaps the IRS can be made to go away?

I will tow a vehicle there... and drop it in the middle of the highway unrunning.

Don't worry... when the highways get blocked off... not even the tow rigs will be able to clear it all up.

If we can get the Teamsters in on this... and other organized labor groups... this looks like a go in my book. I am sure they'd have some demands to meet.

most people are spineless these days a handful of us would do it, and the rest would laugh as they towed our cars away. same idea when our local city workers needed raises and were way behind their pay scales, the police, sanitation, fire, ems, parks, maintenance, ect. all threatened to take their company cars trucks cruisers and firetrucks to the middle of the city, park them, turn all their lights and sirens on, lock them up and walk away until they got their raises. jsut the rumored threat o them shutting down a city, was enough to wake them up. one flaw though, if we all go to the bar, how are they gonna deliver more beer to us?

Throw the idea around... we need the Teamsters and 18 wheel truck drivers to want this.

When gasoline cruises on up beyond the $5 range I believe this idea will actually float.
