check out my hot rod mustang...no front body parts at all...i had to take them off to take it to the body shop...way cheaper if i removed the old stuff myself

Cool... When are you supposed to get it back, and are you changing colors or just getting it back in shape?

Beats the hell out of having to get rid out it. You still have the silencer on it? Now would be a good time to get rid of it.

yeah i'm eventually painting it, but my main goal is to put on the body parts and then paint it down the road...the new parts are a brighter red...so it will just slightly not match...not lik eyellow and red or something...it will look decent. and plus its gonna be four eyed!. I get it back tomorrow (or so the shop says) then me and my buddy are gonna put on the fenders and bumper and hood.

how do you take off the silencer?

I took mine off so long ago, that I don't exactly remember (killed those brain cells). I do know it just bolts on and you have to access the bolts through the airbox (where the air filter is located) and go from there.
