351 windsor build

I've got a 351 windsor that I pulled out of a 77 t bird that has been sitting around for a couple years. The plan was/is to build it up and put it in my 91. I was thinking stroking it out maybe 408, I don't really know. I was wondering what I should look at for pieces and parts. What others might have done and liked. There are so many kits and parts for these that I don't know where to look.

I am 10 minutes from Tom at DSS and have known him for atleast 15 years now,if you are looking from strictly a pricing standpoint, he is crazy on the rotating assemblies, the only thing "DSS" about them is the piston, same thing as Coast High and dozens and dozens of other dealers. I like Tom but he's a bit too proud of what he's got in those stroker kits. On the flipside, pricing means absolutely NOTHING if the service before and after is shitty

I been on the other side of the fence and shitty service is common and sucks.

Hope that wasn't a rant or a slam, just shedding some light

Call Bruce at Greeley Automotive Machine and talk to him as you are somewhat limited on how much stroke you can run with a stock block, he builds some good 351W based stock car engines and drag engines, his # is 970-352-4342.
