95 32v 4.6

So I can get a 95 32v With 70k for 200. Are they a good motor to build on?

Re: 95 32v 4.6

It has everything with it I guess, wiring, comp, and even the front wheel drive trans. I'm tempted to shoe horn it in my 69 mustang.

The block is a Teksid block which is a very strong aluminum block. The heads are good for boost if you decide to go that route. The crank, rods, and pistons are the weak points

Re: 95 32v 4.6

Hey man, pass on this. The Lincoln FWD 4.6L (out of a continental) has a whole different mounting scheme than the RWD 4.6L. Check it out online. I almost bought one myself until I found this out. The Mark 8 was the same as the Mustang, but it was a teksid block (strong aluminum block capable of 1000hp...supposively).

I just found this article.
http://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6l-...ll-it-fit.html

The heads and some of the other parts are interchangable, but the block itself is a different cast.
