e3 Spark Plugs

Looking at replacing the spark plugs and wires in my 4.6L '98 GT. Anyone tried e3 Spark Plugs? My understanding is they come pre-gapped.
Any recommendation on the wires? Except for the exhaused and springs this car is completly stock so using OEM wires shouldn't be a problem with the e3 plugs.

Thanks!

Re: e3 Spark Plugs

Thanks Stanguy,

This 4.6L has 2 coil packs with wires running to the plugs. Now, the 3.9L in my '03 Thunderbird has the C.O.P's. Those are some kind of fun I'll tell ya!

I see you have a stable full of rides. You using e3's in any of them?

Re: e3 Spark Plugs

the lightning has them but Im prob going to go back to FMCO just cause they arent that great in the older cars........they are proly more effective in the mod cars.....and on the wires depending on mileage if you have the funds change them if not no biggy......

Re: e3 Spark Plugs

I had a set in my Stang and won't use them again. The terminal on top tends to come loose and the spark ends up running down the side of the plug to base. You might be able to locktite the terminals in place, but not sure it would help. I'm now running NGK's and I'm very happy with them.
