Cat converter

Ok so for the last couple weeks the car has been hesitating at high rpms.
Not high at the rev limiter but close. Well last weekend I got on it and it sounded like shrapnel going down the pipes. The guy behind me thought it was brown leaves until a piece hit his windshield. After that it ran great. It was a mutual agreement of a couple guys that the catalitic converter blew the guts out of it. Does this mean the other one will go soon? Do I need to replace them?
will it screw up sensors?

Just get an off-road x-pipe then you wont have to worry about it anymore.

I would be willing to bet the other one will also go soon. You shouldn't have to replace them as the computer should relearn how to cope with the gutted cats. You could go with an off road x-pipe or replace them with high preformance cats.

Sounds like your cats bit it, But Im not really sure, I havent had cats on my CCobra Lightnings or Harley Truck ever, They are usually the first thing to go. You can leave it alone, Your computer will learn to live without them.
